ChocolateSilver Explained
A Chocolate Silver Dog carries the Gene Formula (AbCdEGmrSt). This color is recessive in nature and will re-produce itself Only when bred to a dog that is the same color. Both the chocolate (b) and blue (d) gene must be present in double dose for the offspring to be this color along with the (G) Graying gene. If anyone of these genes are not present the dog will not be considered the color Chocolate Silver. The nose color will never be black and will always match the coat color. If this dog also has white on the coat it means that the (S) gene would be replaced with one of these White producing gene patterns, (si,sp, or sw) in any combination.
