Charcoal and White Explained
.

.

Charcoal & White (atBCdEgmrsi/spt) This color has the same formula as the Charcoal dog with the exception of carrying a different gene that produces varying amounts of white. It
will reproduce its color if bred to a dog of the same color or to a dog that also carries the blue (d) gene. It is recessive in nature because two (d) genes are needed to produce the color. If your dog is Charcoal and White the (S) gene would be replaced with one of these White producing gene patterns, (si, or sp) in any combination. It also has the same formula as a blue and white dog but presents itself in a different manner turning the dog a charcoal color rather than the grays of a blue dog. For more info see White Chart.
