Wolfgray/Agouti Explained
A Wolfgrey/Agouti Dog carries the Gene Formula (awBCDEgmrSt). This color is dominant to the colors tan or sable or black and tan. It is recessive to the color Black. It can appear in many variations of color because the individual hairs are really a mixture of many colors. It gives the appearance of a wild or grizzled look. Some dogs are more gray in appearance while some take on more tan or brown tones. White can also be combined with the Wolfgrey or Agouti color. Some dogs that commonly have this color are the Norwegian Elkhound, German Shepherd and Siberian Husky.
